| On PS4 this week, Germany’s Alexx545 couldn’t quite make it a hat-trick of 3 wins in a row, coming home in second place behind newcomer DriverR1 from France! It wasn’t a great week for another Frenchman though, as SMS-R Driver Network Championship regular, Atho from Team Shark Racing, met his match at the semi-final stage against eventual winner, DriverR1. That means that the gap has closed at the top of the PlayStation4 Go4 rankings, with DriverR1 closing in on overall leader Alexx545...
| Over on Xbox One, we did see a hat-trick of wins achieved by SDL Mihalo, an eye-catching driver who’s also showing off his skills in the SMS-R Driver Network Championship having joined title contenders, SDL Motorsport. There were some shocks this week, with some of the fastest drivers getting knocked out very early in the bracket. The Starlux team only made it as far as the quarter finals with Slux PSY2PAC and Slightly Mad Studios’ Creative Director, Andy Tudor was defeated in the first round! There were several Starlux and TX3 drivers competing again on Xbox One this week, but the privateers are holding their own against the big teams...
| There was another spectacular hat-trick of wins to behold on PC too. Ukraine’s USSRxALeXeR was on the top step of the podium for the third week in a row, and had to face some tough racers on his way to the final, including knocking out SMS-R Driver Network Championship regulars like F1-Masa. There was an upset as well, as khaki, currently second in the overall PC standings, only made it as far as the quarter finals, giving USSRxALeXeR a big opportunity to increase his points lead...
