On PC, there was a dominance by reigning champions SDL Motorsport with Mangator, Yoohan, and new recruit Masa all finishing in the Top 4 securing a significant 126 points for SDL Logitech G. Right behind them, LouLou and team manager Philippe led the charge with newcomers Bulls666 and AcKrO all putting points on the board for sister team SDL Hauppage.

It's fair to say that SDL Motorsport are starting the season strong therefore in the PC Division as they look to retaining their championship title in 2016.

Elsewhere, competition came from free agent FinPro who came in 2nd on the podium and Project CARS Polska driver TomiKilos. Fans will remember FinPro from last year where he finished 6th overall and won our Project CARS Esports Live event at Gamescom. Unfortunately teammate XaV would have secured more points for his team but ran wide on the exit of Club thereby invalidating his time and teammate Torch finished 24th thereby not gaining any points either.

In the Console Division, Unity Motors delivered on their promise at the end of last year to come into the 2016 season with their eyes on the prize with a competent win taking home 108 points for their Racing Team. Despite concerns over Gturbo's ability to adhere to track boundaries from the SMS-R Driver Network Championship, he secured a podium position with teammates UltraboonB and SmOKky right behind him. This is a great start from Unity Motors and it looks like whatever changes were made during the Preseason have paid off for them.

Right behind them, the rivalry between SDL Motorsport and Team Shark continues into 2016 as all five drivers from SDL secured points for their team thereby matching higher-positioned rivals Atho who finished in second place and Yinato who finished eleventh. Once again, this is looking to be another long tête-à-tête between these two teams although with Unity Motors now looking hopeful it may soon be a three-way battle.

Elsewhere, great performances came in from PSF Racing where Fab took the 1st place win securing a huge 50 points for the team, Team TBA secured 20 points from teammates eol-, DaBomb330 and kie25, and VRroom Team 1 went away with 22 points after competent performances from drivers Project_Sideways and c_larkey.

The most disappointing however came from RZ Motorsport who succumbed to temptation and had three teammates times disqualified for failing to adhere to track limits. This is surely a blow to their Summer Split hopes and a wakeup call to them that the rules must be obeyed.
