Rules & Regulations
During the time trial, you must stay within track limits at all times. Please make sure that you read Section 2) Ghost Review and Track Limits of the NVIDIA Series regulations. After the time trial, the top 15 drivers who pre-registered on each platform will be invited to race head-to-head on December 3 & 4. Eligible drivers will be contacted by email after the qualifiers to provide them with instructions explaining how to join the correct online lobbies for the Finals. These races will be organised by our partners at Apex Online Racing. Drivers will face off to compete for the cash prizes, streamed live on Twitch. All qualified drivers will compete in two races in the Finals, both will feature a 10 minute qualifying session, followed by a 15 lap race. Both races will begin with standing starts. Any penalties for jump starts will be handled automatically by the in-game penalty system. Points will be awarded in the races using the system shown below. The winning driver on each platform will be the driver with the most points after the 2 races. In the event of a tie, the driver with the best qualifying positions will win. 1st - 25 points 2nd - 18 points 3rd - 15 points 4th - 12 points 5th - 10 points 6th - 8 points 7th - 6 points 8th - 4 points 9th - 2 points 10th - 1 point Additional lobby settings for the finals will be as follows: Time/Date/Weather: 1pm/May 1/Light Cloud Assists: ONLY Traction Control & ABS are allowed. Tyre Wear and Fuel Use: OFF Mechanical Failures: OFF Damage: OFF These settings are designed to give all of the players a chance to recover if they make a mistake in either race, because the races are relatively short at only 15 laps each. In the unfortunate event that a driver is disconnected from the lobby during a race, the race will not be restarted. If this occurs during Race 1, the driver will be allowed to rejoin the lobby before Race 2 begins. Any incidents will only be investigated after the races have finished, and only if the drivers involved can provide video footage of the incident to the organisers. Penalties will take the form of points deductions. |
