The Logitech G Championship Series (LGCS) is a worldwide, eSports league running within Project CARS consisting of two Divisions - PC and Console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One combined).
The league is comprised of a number of pre-registered teams each consisting of up to 5 members. Each driver and team participates in a sequence of ten rounds occurring throughout 2016 that coincide with real-world events. These ten rounds are divided into two Splits - Summer and Autumn with a Transfer Window being open between them whereby teams can adjust their roster.
The aim of each round is to set the fastest lap time on the leaderboard before it expires. Following adjudication, Championship Points are then awarded for finishing positions...

The winning drivers and teams are those that have accrued the most Championship Points by the end of the Autumn Split.
1) HOW TO PLAY
Each LGCS round can be accessed from COMMUNITY EVENTS within the Driver Network section of Race Central with players being able to see:
eSports drivers are free to enter any Live Rounds as many times as they wish using their Registered Draft Account without penalty. Entries posted under alternate or secondary accounts will not be credited to the primary account.
Rounds are live between 00:00 and 23:59 GMT on the dates stated.

2) GHOST REVIEW & TRACK LIMITS
It is possible there may be areas in the game where the track can be cut or it's possible to run wide without the game issuing a penalty. In these instances a submitted time and ghost may still appear on the leaderboard. Hence, for every round, the top 30 entries on all platforms is subject to a review of the ghost data by SMS staff to ensure its validity.

- Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt, the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not. A driver will be judged to have left the track if fewer than two wheels remain in contact with the track.
- Drivers must obey the track limits rules around the entire circuit, with particular care on all wide kerbs, on any tarmac/concrete/painted run-off areas, and in any areas of sand, gravel or grass.
If, after ghost review, it was seen that the track was cut or there was intentional running wide at any point, the submitted entry will not be included in the official results. Additionally...
In exceptional circumstances - due to a high number of disallowed entries or disqualified drivers - there may end up being fewer than 20 valid entries within a Division following ghost review. This is due to only the Top 30 entries on each platform being reviewed.
We are limited to checking the top 30 ghosts on Xbox One and PS4, because the PlayStation Network servers are only able to store 30 ghosts per event. Therefore, players that finish outside the top 30 positions on an Xbox One or PS4 leaderboard cannot be included in that Round's overall top 20.
- Any drivers setting their Steam, PSN or Xbox Live privacy settings in such a way that their ghosts are hidden by the end of the round will immediately have their entries disallowed.
- Any times deemed ineligible due to suspicious or fraudulent circumstances will be disqualified. This includes the use of any game exploits.

2.1) IMPROVING YOUR TIME DURING THE EVENT
If drivers improve their time on the leaderboard, but exceed track limits on the new lap, then the entry will be disallowed. If this happens, the previous lap time is not rolled back. Only the fastest lap on the leaderboard at the end of the event will be considered for the final results.
Therefore, if during a lap you think that you might have cut a corner or run-wide even slightly, please slow down and/or abandon the lap, rather than set an invalid lap for the leaderboard. Otherwise you risk setting an invalid lap that you cannot replace with a faster, valid lap before the end of the event, meaning you miss out on possible Championship points.

3) POINTS ALLOCATIONS
Championship Points are allocated to the Top 20 legitimate drivers in the LGCS PC Division, and the Top 20 legitimate drivers in the LGCS Console Division (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One combined)
Drivers will also earn equivalent points for their current team within their registered Division, matching the value of their finishing position.
The final driver and team standings will be posted within 48 hours of each round's conclusion.

4) TEAMS
Teams are limited to a maximum of 5 drivers per LGCS Division.
Teams can compete in both Divisions, however drivers cannot. Drivers must remain in the Division of their choice and designated team for the entirety of a Split.
Teams must register to play in their chosen Division during the Preseason Draft that closes on April 1 2016. After this point, team rosters cannot be changed until the Mid-Season Transfer Window re-opens in July.
Any driver who switches Divisions during the Mid-Season Transfer Window will not transfer their Championship Points between Divisions and will have to start again from zero in their destination Division.

6) OPEN SERIES
The LGCS is an Open Series, meaning that vehicles can be tuned and used to participate in each round.

Drivers will be able to run with assists on. In "Help & Options" if you set the assists to "Real", you will get these same settings in the event. Only the chosen car's real-world assists will work.

Each time you enter an event, your first flying lap will be on cool brakes. This is how the Community Events run, in order to encourage the driver to find and balance the optimum brake temperature for themselves.

8) ROUND CANCELLATION
Rounds may be cancelled or rescheduled at short notice at the discretion of the organisers.
Under normal circumstances this will not take place. However, this can be necessary if the organisers become aware of excessive cheating by multiple drivers or teams, or if software technical issues reduce the fairness of the competition.
